Craziness and Adjusting

Are you an organized sort? You know where everything is and you have a time and place for it all? Well I am not. I am a chaotic, cram it in where it fits, what am I doing again sort. Oh I dream of well greased wheels and gears clicking a whirring in efficient unison, but so far I am a creative mess, popping things out of jumble. What can you do? I am what I am. Here are some things I have popped out lately.

A Little For You, A Little For Me

This funky peice is headed to Austin. It is a crazy little necklace I made for a friend of mine who lives far away and who I miss a great deal these days as we both go through the experience of new motherhood. It would be so sweet if our girls could grow up as friends, but alas our paths were near only briefly. It is made with black tourmaline, pyrite, turquoise and a ruby moonstone. I hope this inspires fun and harmless craziness my dear!!
This necklace of smoky quartz and turquoise is going to my beloved Auntie Jan who is battling cancer right now. I know she is going to kick it's ass. The smokey quartz is to help negate the effects of the chemo and radiation and the turquoise is to help re-establish wholeness and to help her communicate what needs to be communicated. I love you Auntie Jan.
And last but not least, this beauty is for me. This crystal I have had for a long time. I think it is my first clear quartz point. I put a carnelian ring that I made around the top of it and wrapped it all together with copper wire and then I made the necklace part with copper chain that had amethyst, labradorite and iolite wrapped in, (a left over strand from Mystical 3 strand) and some other copper chain with various carnelian, rose quartz, smokey quartz and other agates in it that were given to me by a sweet old lady who was a customer at Extra Foods. Back in those days you know.
